Atomic clock my foot
I suppose it’s not surprising that a coffee-maker brand can’t tell an atomic clock receiver from a transistor radio, but this is awful.

DO NOT BUY THIS **NOT A O N E S TAR ITEM**
Unfortunately at AMAZON you don’t have the option of NO star.
The atomic clock not working is only one of a myriad of problems for this hunk of junk.

Perfect Time? No Time!
Makes good coffee quickly, but forget the atomic clock unless you live on a mountain top with Colorado in Clear view (where the signal originates).

I bought this coffee maker because 1: name brand Melitta, 2: 1450 watts of power, 3: box said it brewed at 200 degrees, and I'd really like to make a HOT cup of coffee at home...

One of the best
I’ve had my coffeemaker for about 2 years. It has worked faithfully every day. Coffee stays warm for long periods of time without scorching like those with a hot plate.

Ours worked for about 4 months and then started turning itself off after brewing only 1 or 2 cups. We now stand by the coffee maker and keep pushing the on button and eventually…

Makes great tasting coffee, but….
it just doesn’t brew it hot enough. Especially for my wife who likes cream in hers. I asked the place I got it from if there is any way to make it hotter.

great product, quick brew, coffee plenty hot. my husband has no difficulty getting the carafe lid off after brewing, and with the help of a dish towel, i don’t either.

Great coffee maker
Nothing fancy, it just works. Makes great tasting coffee, and is easy to use, easy to clean. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee warm without imparting burnt taste.

Disappointed and $170 Poorer for it!
I hate this coffeemaker! The coffee never comes out hot enough. I’ve tried heating the carafe with hot water beforehand and everything.
