Capresso 441.05 MT-500 Plus 10-cup Coffeemaker with Metallic Alloy Body and Stainless Thermal Carafe

Amazon.com Review
Employing a stainless-steel vacuum carafe instead of a warming plate, this coffeemaker brews up to 10 cups in under eight minutes for maximum flavor and aroma, and the carafe then keeps the coffee hot for several hours.
The carafe prevents coffee from turning bitter, as it can when sitting on a warming plate, and doesn’t have to remain with the machine for coffee to stay hot.
The machine also offers a setting for brewing three to five cups without diluting the flavor or aroma. The unit’s charcoal water filter removes up to 83 percent of the chlorine in tap water, and its electronic indicator shows when the water filter needs replacing.
To reduce calcification, Capresso’s stainless-steel ThermoBlock system prevents water from contacting aluminum inside the machine. A serious coffee maker
I wish I had purchased this one a long time ago.
Far better than the Braun, Krups and Cuisinarts that I had previously used.

Forget the complaints, It’s lovely.
I just don’t understand all the negative reviews. This machine is a beauty. Coffee comes out scalding hot and amazingly smooth compared to any other machine we’ve had.

10-cup coffeemaker
This is a great product. It keeps the coffee hot for hours and you don’t get the “burned” coffee taste as it has not been on the heat; It cleans up really well after use.

Excellent Upgrade From Old Capresso Model 471
Our new Capresso MT550Plus was an unplanned replacement for a much-used 471 “breakfast coffee-maker” that went belly-up a few days ago.

PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING
I’ll make this quick. I spent hours researching this coffee maker, and I made the mistake of ignoring the few poor reviews.

Excellent But Expensive Coffeemaker Worth The Indulgence
This coffeemaker replaced a Krups thermal carafe coffee maker that I used almost daily for 14 years.
